(Ord, NE) – Kristina Volf of Ord has joined Valley County Economic Development as Business Development and Marketing Specialist. Kristina is a 2011 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. While at UNL, Kristina was named on the dean’s list every semester, graduated with high distinction, and has also interned at VCED for the past two years.
As Business Development and Marketing Specialist, Volf will be focused on providing one-on-one business coaching for Valley County businesses. She will also assume a variety of marketing tasks and projects as well. “I’m excited to be back in my hometown and to have the opportunity to help local businesses and the community grow and develop,” Volf said.
“Kristina is a product of how a successful internship program can groom talent for future opportunities,” states Caleb Pollard, VCED executive director. “We are excited to have her aboard and look forward to the positive impact that Kristina will make in our communities. She showed us in 2010 her talents with the successful launch and execution of our Buy Local efforts and I know she will help make lasting positive impact in Valley County.”
