Kristina Foth has been named Interim Executive Director of Valley County Economic Development and the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce. Foth will fill the vacancy created by Trevor Lee, who announced his resignation in February to pursue an opportunity in economic development in Gage County, Nebraska.
Foth is a Valley County native, graduating from Ord High School in 2007 and from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. While in college, she served as a Summer Intern for two seasons with VCED and Ord Area Chamber and has been full time with the organizations since May 2011.
Foth shares, “I was born and raised in Valley County and feel an incredibly strong sense of belonging here. I love connecting with community members, business owners and visitors as well as providing resources and developing programs to help our community thrive. I’m honored and excited to serve my community in this new capacity.”
