Valley County Health System (VCHS) has been selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. Out of all the Healthcare facilities in Nebraska, VCHS was one of three to receive this recognition. This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide.

Results from a recent VCHS employee survey as well as an extensive employer assessment were utilized by Modern Healthcare and Workforce Research Group during the assessment process. The assessment consisted of over 70 questions related to the workforce, diversity and inclusion, benefits, wellness initiatives, fun activities, and work-life balance.

VCHS will find out their ranking on the Best Places list and be celebrated at the 2023 Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala taking place Sept. 28 at the Renaissance Chicago.
