For more than a quarter century, Unity Eye Centers has proudly served the vision needs of Ord and the surrounding communities. While Unity Eye Centers is celebrating its 26th anniversary in 2026, the legacy of exceptional eye care in Ord spans more than 50 years.
That legacy began in 1975 when Dr. Roger McCartney established his eye care practice in Ord. For more than four decades, Dr. McCartney became a trusted provider and familiar face, caring for generations of patients before retiring in 2018. In 2000, Dr. Brandon Blair joined Dr. McCartney in practice, ensuring a seamless transition and the continuation of the personalized, high-quality care the community had come to know and trust.
Known for many years as Professional Eye Care, the practice later became Unity Eye Centers, but its commitment to outstanding patient care has remained unchanged. Today, Dr. Blair continues the tradition established by Dr. McCartney, combining compassionate care with modern technology to meet the vision and eye health needs of patients throughout the region.
Located at 1511 M Street, Unity Eye Centers has built lasting relationships with generations of families by providing comprehensive eye exams, medical eye care, and quality eyewear. Their mission is to help patients protect and preserve their vision through advanced technology, early detection of eye health conditions, and individualized care in a welcoming environment.
Over the years, Unity Eye Centers has expanded its services, invested in advanced diagnostic technology, and continually enhanced the patient experience. As the practice has grown, so has its ability to provide greater access to comprehensive eye care while maintaining the personal attention and hometown service patients have appreciated for decades.
