Our organizations exist to serve the greater good of our community which includes recruiting qualified workforce for local businesses and attracting newcomers to our area. This will be the first of hopefully many Career Fairs at various campuses and for various industries that VCED and the Ord Area Chamber will attend on behalf of local businesses. Based on data from past business visitation reports, the recruitment of skilled labor in many of the industries listed below was a high priority and our attendance at Career Fair events is one of several initiatives that have been implemented as a response to our local business needs.
