New Housing Development at Rolling Hills Open for Business

Below is our official press release on one of our more recent developments that is open for business. I hear quite often how rural communities struggle to address their housing needs. Great people, great organizations and determination can deliver a rational solution to rural problems. Check out the consortium of awesome that helped get our latest large-scale project completed. ~ Caleb

(Ord, NE) – The City of Ord and its project partners have completed a 37-lot housing development designed to meet the growing demand for new housing development in. Lots for sale are available on a first come-first serve basis. Several relocation incentives are available for families that qualify. Qualified builder incentives include downpayment assistance, a donated lot and free utility connections.

Families seeking to qualify for home building incentives can begin by contacting Judy Petersen of Central Nebraska Housing Developers at (402) 340-0106. As an additional incentive for the housing development, the City of Ord provides 4% interest construction financing loans for buyers that qualify.
Prospective buyers are encouraged to contact Dani Warner or Steve Wolf at Wolf Auction and Real Estate at (308) 728-3101 for a tour of the new housing development or to purchase a lot.

New Neighborhoods project partners include the City of Ord, the Loup Valley Investment Club, Greater Loup Valley Activities, Inc., Valley County Economic Development, Central Nebraska Housing Developers, Mesner Development Corporation, the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. The City of Ord is a fair housing provider.
