Greater Loup Valley Activities (GLVA), a 501c3 organization, has opened applications for grants for youth sports activities in Valley County. Below is information pertaining to grant applications:
- Applications can be requested in person at Valley County Economic Development 1514 K Street, Ord, NE 68862 or by email at CalebPollard@ordnebraska.com.
- Grant applications must be for youth activities located in Valley County, NE. A youth activity is defined by GLVA as an out-of-school activity conducted by a young person, through youth organizations, and characterized by a non-formal learning approach.
- Public municipalities are not eligible for this grant.
- Funds are limited and the board reserves the right to determine if the request fits within the required parameters for funding.
- Complete the application along with any supporting documentation and submit it for review.
- $5,000.00 max per applicant and one application per year per applicant.
- All completed applications are due on the last day of September each calendar year.
