The first snow of the season has fallen, which means WinterFest and Small Business Saturday are right around the corner!
The 2020 WinterFest and Small Business Saturday will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Because of COVID, this years’ events and activities may look a little different, but full of the same holiday spirit!
During the holiday season, Ord Area Chamber members have the benefit of participating in a variety of promotions including the Snowball Drop and WinterFest Parade. Chamber members are also promoted as part of the Holiday ChamberBucks Drawings, which are coordinated and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, and also have the exclusive benefit of accepting the Ord Area ChamberBucks as customers’ payment.
WinterFest and Small Business Saturday Chamber Member Promotion Packets are available for Ord Area Chamber members. These promotion packets are an exclusive offer for Chamber Members and include:

Registration forms included in this packet are due November 6, 2020. Chamber members can download the Promotion Packet or pick up a hard copy at the Chamber Office.
One change to this years’ WinterFest activities is the transition to a Virtual Snowball Drop. This new format will expand participation opportunities for community members out of town for the holiday or avoiding colder weather. That means more opportunities for Snowball Savings to reach consumers! Community members are invited to comment on “Business Boost” posts on the Ord, NE Facebook and Instagram pages starting November 2th until November 25th. These commenters will be entered for the chance to win various Snowball Savings, which will be drawn on Facebook Live on Saturday, November 28 at 10:00am.
